Our Houston Facility
Our crane factory in Houston’s Northwest manufacturing sector is the North American headquarters for Konecranes’ heavy duty crane business, specializing in high-stakes process cranes that are critical to our clients’ business success.
Our manufacturing facility covers 120,000 square feet, employs over 100 workers, and includes dedicated buildings for sandblasting and paint work. Our state-of-the-art automated welding equipment and certified welders facilitate fast and accurate girder fabrication. All of the cranes we build are fully assembled and tested at our facility.
Our Houston operation manufactures cranes rated up to 500 tons and with spans in excess of 150 feet. We ship our technically advanced, engineered crane solutions all over the Americas and worldwide through the Port of Houston, the number 1 export portal in the U. S.
Our employees have a long history in the crane business, dating back to 1987 when Konecranes acquired the facility. They include industry specialists with expertise in key manufacturing sectors, and dedicated project managers who see your project through to completion. Our engineering group works on parallel CAD systems with Konecranes’ own proprietary software, allowing us to access and share information globally on the latest technologies in lifting. Our document control systems are state-of-the-art, and we support our products worldwide through the world’s largest crane maintenance organization.
